Sport Pharma Formats: Oil Vials, Ampoule Kits and Tablet Packs

Four formats, four ways to count

The Sport Pharma section of the catalog is not one kind of product. It holds oil in multi-dose vials, oil in sealed glass ampoules, tablets in blister strips and a growth hormone kit, and each of them is counted differently on the label. Before two prices can be compared, the labeled content behind each price has to be worked out, and the way to work it out depends on the format.

The table below shows the rule for each format with a live example from the catalog. The same arithmetic is behind every labeled total in the comparison tables on the category page and on the price list.

The labeled total is arithmetic on the figures printed on the label. It is not a statement about what any amount is used for.

Multi-dose oil vials

An oil vial is a glass vial with a rubber stopper, holding a stated volume of oil at a stated strength per milliliter. The name usually carries the volume, so 10ml in a name is the volume of the vial. The strength is on the label, and it differs between listings of the same volume, which is the most common reason two vials of equal size cost different amounts.

The Nandrolone Decanoate 30ml listing is the large format, one 30ml multi-dose vial, so one stopper is used far more often and one container stays in storage for longer. Whatever the size, the vial stays in its box at room temperature, because the label says not to refrigerate it.

Ampoule kits

An ampoule kit is ten separate sealed glass containers of 1ml each, so the 10ml in the product name is the combined volume and not a single vial. There is no shared stopper to keep clean, and an ampoule stays sealed until it is opened.

The trade-off is breakage: loose glass ampoules crack more easily than a vial in its box, so on arrival the first job is to count them and look at each one. The box is marked do not refrigerate, and the ampoules stay in it at room temperature, away from direct light and heat.

Tablet packs

A tablet pack is counted by strength per tablet and by the number of tablets, in blister strips inside a printed box. Oxandrolone 100 tab is 10mg per tablet over 100 tablets, 1,000mg in the pack. Stanozolol 100 tab is 20mg per tablet over 100 tablets, 2,000mg in the pack.

In Thailand the risk for tablets is humidity rather than heat. The blister strips protect each tablet until it is pushed out, so the tablets stay in the strips, the strips stay in the box, and the box goes in a dry interior cupboard, not a bathroom, a kitchen or a window shelf.

The growth hormone kit

HGH Somatropin 100IU is counted in international units, not milligrams: ten 10IU vials, 100IU in the kit. A figure in IU cannot be set beside a figure in milligrams, so this listing is compared with other growth hormone products only.

The kit is normally kept refrigerated, which makes it the one Sport Pharma listing where the delivery plan matters as much as the order. HGH Frag 176-191 is a different product: a peptide fragment sold by the milligram in the Peptides section.

Comparing prices between formats

A price only means something against the labeled content behind it, and only for the same compound. Two oils of the same compound at different strengths can be compared by price per labeled milligram. Two different compounds cannot, because a milligram of one is not a milligram of the other, and a tablet pack cannot be set against an ampoule kit on price alone.

The practical rule is to compare like with like: the same compound, the same format, and then the total on the label. The category page lists every listing side by side with its label figures, and the price list shows the current price of each in baht and dollars.

What to look at on arrival, by format

For a vial, check the seal, the cap and the printed strength. For an ampoule kit, count ten and look at each one for cracks. For a tablet pack, check that the blister strips are intact and the printed strength matches the listing. For the growth hormone kit, count ten vials and confirm the batch and expiry are readable. What does 10ml mean on an ampoule kit?

It is the combined volume of ten sealed 1ml glass ampoules, not a single 10ml vial. The strength is printed per milliliter, so the kit total is the strength multiplied by ten.

How many milligrams are in a 100-tablet pack?

The strength per tablet multiplied by 100. A pack of 100 tablets at 10mg holds 1,000mg of labeled content and a pack at 20mg holds 2,000mg.

What is the difference between a vial and an ampoule?

A vial is a multi-dose glass container with a rubber stopper. An ampoule is a single sealed glass container that is opened once. The catalog lists oils in both formats, and the label says which one a listing is.

Are tablets stored differently from oils?
